This is an open class. The class is structured so that you don't need any prior knowledge of Afro-Cuban dances, but it is also interesting for those who already have previous experience. There is always something new to discover.

Learning objectives
Folklore is power, elegance, grounding, and freedom. You work on body awareness, rhythm, musicality, posture, and coordination — building a deeper connection to your body and your movement. Because Afro-Cuban dances are the origin of so many Cuban styles, this course is also one of the most intensive and sustainable movement trainings you can find.

Yes, you can come to all our classes without a partner. We work with partner changes in the course. You don't have to switch if you want to stay with your partner (voluntary). For Ladystyling and Solo, you don't need a partner as it's solo dancing.
