Before I discovered dancing, music was already my great passion. I spent every free minute making music, playing guitar, and writing songs.
I discovered Salsa Cubana by chance – I walked past a class, my group of friends decided to give it a try, and the rest is history. The dance school I ended up at in my hometown was Cuban Salsa Power. There, I had the privilege of learning from Emilito Herrera, a renowned Casinero. A new passion quickly emerged: I could be found at every social, in the dance studio, or training with my new salsa friends. I taught at the dance school and became part of Emilito's show team – with which we won the German Rueda Championship in 2013. Shows in Rueda and as a couple followed, both at home and abroad. In addition to Emilito, I was able to learn from great Maestros at festivals and gain experience in Cuba.
In 2014, I left my hometown of Augsburg and moved to Berlin for my studies. A few months later, I founded Cuban Salsa Power Berlin to enrich the capital's Cuban dance scene. It all started at the Panda Theater, where I gave my first dance classes in Berlin. The Panda Party, which took place after the classes, is probably the most legendary Timba party Berlin has ever seen.
I have now been running CSP Berlin for over 10 years. During this time, I have been a defining part of the capital's Cuban dance scene – teaching at international festivals, performing in numerous shows, and winning the prestigious Timba Competition at the Guaguancó Festival together with my dance partner Julia von Oy. I choreographed a show and performed it with my best students in Berlin and Hamburg. To name just a few of the milestones. Furthermore, for several years now, I have been booked as DJ TiMueve at parties in and outside of Berlin.
