Cuban Salsa is a partner dance that originated in Cuba and is actually called “Casino”. Unlike most other salsa styles, Casino is danced circularly, with partners circling each other. It is a dance full of joy, playful interaction with your partner, and communication with each other. The dance can take on a variety of flavors. It can be elegant, sensual, playful, or powerfully athletic, exactly as the music and the moment demand.
The so-called Nudos are fascinating – complex knot figures where the two partners seemingly intertwine, only to magically untangle themselves in the next moment.
