Dive into the world of Reparto – one of Cuba’s most popular dance styles right now.
Reparto is loud, energetic, creative, and full of life. But there’s much more to these striking movements than just a trend. This urban dance style is closely linked to Cuban street culture and brings a unique blend of musicality, expression, attitude, and freedom of movement.
Musically, there are influences from reggaeton, yet Reparto has developed its own distinct sound, style, and character. Today, Reparto is one of Cuba’s most popular music and dance styles and is gaining more and more international popularity.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of Reparto and discover where the movements come from, what defines them, and how to perform them authentically. Together with Chris, you’ll dive into modern Cuban dance culture and get to know the typical movements, rhythms, and the special attitude that makes this style so unique.
The dynamic movements promote mobility, coordination, and body awareness. At the same time, you’ll train your musicality, expression, and the ability to naturally translate the energy of the music into movement.
The workshop is suitable for both those who want to discover Reparto for the first time and dancers who want to deepen their understanding of this style.
To finish, Chris will work with you on a short Reparto choreography where you can apply the movements you’ve learned. Look forward to new moves, creative combinations, and lots of fun dancing.

About Chris
Originally from Cuba, Chris graduated from the renowned Escuela Nacional de Artes (ENA). He then danced for Ballet Revolution and other professional companies, gaining extensive stage and dance experience on international tours.
Chris has been living in Berlin since December and inspires others with his positive energy, professional training, and ability to teach complex movements in an understandable and motivating way.
